I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
